Q: What is the advantage and characteristics of silicone ?

A little video we have recorded with a mother, to demo how to use the Silicone Breast Pump.
In this demo, the mother is applying the breast pump using the method that we call “Flip”.
Firstly, she turns the outer edges of the breast pump, inside out.
Then you can see in the video, she puts the breast pump over her breast, and then flips the edges over. This action creates a suction seal on her breast.
You can see that when she squeezes the pump, it continues to apply pressure and extends her nipple, to express milk.
Then you can see that due to the suction, her nipple extends into the pump.
She can leave it like this to catch natural let-down as she breastfeeds her baby from the other side.
Or she can continue to gently squeeze the sides of the bottle to manually express milk.
